Small motors and Stepper Motors
Simple Servo Motor and ControllerFor simple servo applications, QuickSilver offers the SilverDust IGF which features a compact DIN rail mountable design, 7 TTL level I/O (optional 24V with QCI-BO-B52), RS-232/485 serial interface, ASCII/Modbus protocol, and enough memory for several thousand lines of programming. Like the other SilverDust IG controller/drivers, the IGF comes with a built in regenerative braking circuit, single connector to motor, an on/off switch, and status LEDs.
NEMA 34 Servo MotorQuickSilver Controls, Inc. expands its line of servo motors with the QCI-A34L-1. The 34L-1 only requires 4.5A which means a single cable can be used for both motor and encoder signals and the servo motor can be driven from a small SilverDust D2 controller.
New catalogue describes positioning and manipulation possibilitiesArmstrong Optical Ltd announces the immediate availability of a new catalogue describing the complete range of extreme resolution positioning and manipulation systems from SmarAct GmbH. The core competence of SmarAct GmbH is the development of miniaturised positioners that meet the highest demands of precision and control.
Mclennan launch new range of 5 and 10 A stepper drives with choice of built-in intelligent controllerMclennan Servo Supplies has launched a new range of 5 and 10 A intelligent stepper drives from the California based motion control innovator Applied Motion Products. The new ST series microstepping drives are available in three competitively priced versions offering a wide choice of control options that includes step and direction input, encoder following, graphical point and click programming for simple machine sequencing, and high level ASCII host control for complex multi-axis motion and machine control.
Mclennan release new 23 and 34 frame high-torque stepper motors with terminal box option for cable gland or circular ring connectorsStepper motors fitted with flying leads often require elaborate and costly modification to adapt the wiring into applications, particularly where EMC, environmental protection or smart appearance is of importance. To address the problem, Mclennan Servo Supplies Ltd, the Surrey based mechatronics solutions provider has commissioned the acclaimed Japanese manufacturer Tamagawa Seiki to produce a new range of NEMA 23 and 34 frame hybrid stepper motors complete with a terminal block and a choice of cable gland or metal ring connectors.
New magnet design develops extra powerA totally new concept in magnet design and construction has enabled Geeplus to develop a voice coil motor which develops between 30 and 40% more force than devices using a similar coil.
New from Mclennan - Tamagawa's TS3218 miniature hybrid stepper motor is flat and small but powerfulMeasuring just 13 mm in length and 46 mm in diameter but delivering an impressive 5 Ncm holding torque, Tamagawa's TS3218 series flat hybrid stepper motors can provide a powerful miniature positioning solution in a very restricted space. Available from Mclennan Servo Supplies Ltd, these unique 200/400 step/rev motors are supplied in 5 V and 12 V versions for unipolar and bipolar drive connection with current ratings from 0.165 to 0.25 A/phase.
GEEPLUS announce the world' ssmallest bistable rotary solenoidClaimed to be the world's smallest bistable rotary solenoid, Geeplus have launched the tiny S1020 which measures a miniscule 2cms long and just 1cm in diameter. Designed for the operation of optical shutters or very light frictionless loads, the S1020 has a surprisingly fast operating speed of less than 4ms with a 10 degree operating angle. |
