Serapid Offers New Safety Option For Quick Die Change Clamps

Serapid is now offering a new safety option for their improved wedge clamp, the TBHS Escaping Arc Clamp.

Proximity sensors are now available for all sizes. Customers can specify one of three different mounting locations on the clamp for the sensors. They can be mounted parallel, perpendicular or off the back of the clamp.

The TBHS clamp comes in a range of sizes from two to 63 tons. It also features a mechanical safety detent so the die will not drop in the event of a pressure failure. This clamp is well suited for automated systems, where sensing clamp position is required.
