Blue Diamond Technologies announces that it is expanding its kitting service for engineering assemblies and components. Responding to growing customer demand, Blue Diamond is now providing kits for a wide range of business suppliers including office equipment, automation equipment, industrial/commercial pumps and white goods. The kits are usually based on one or more Blue Diamond manufactured components, together with related parts that are packaged together into a complete set.

Components available from Blue Diamond include cast parts, machined components, plastic mouldings, assemblies, bearings and seals. These high quality components are sourced from carefully vetted low cost suppliers outside the UK to provide a highly competitive service. The Blue Diamond manufactured components can be combined with related parts such as fixings, rawlplugs, gaskets and O rings etc. to provide a complete kit that is ready for use. Kits can be packaged into standard or bespoke boxes with instructions and other documentation as necessary.

Labelling, including bar coding, can be included if required and with over 20,000 square feet of computerised warehousing available, many customers take advantage of Blue Diamond’s extensive UK stockholding facility ensuring that all parts are stocked ready for efficient call off as required. Kanban and JIT deliveries are also available.

Some customers need advice about supplying suitable components and may even be looking for a solution to an engineering problem. Blue Diamond is much more than just a component supplier - it has the resources available to design and engineer a wide range of components to address these manufacturing challenges. The design service can include supplying prototypes and originating drawings, quality and material specifications as part of a complete supply package.
