Simufact Engineering GmbH announces 12th RoundTable, the conference on the simulation of bulk metal forming, in Bamberg, Germany

Simufact Engineering GmbH, announced that the 12th RoundTable will again - in good tradition - take place in Bamberg, from September 27th - 30th, 2010. The conference and its accompanying events will show how companies and their employees can face today's challenges in creating efficient process designs and will offer the opportunity to discuss new approaches in forming simulation technology. Users from all industries and countries are called to submit their paper on bulk metal forming processes to contribute to the success of the 12th RoundTable.

The 12th RoundTable brings together leading engineers and managers from all areas of bulk metal forming. The attendees will gain insight into the broad application field of forming simulation and will have the opportunity to learn more about the latest trends of the branch. Additionally, this year’s international RoundTable will offer excellent possibilities to learn more about applications in different regions, in which Simufact’s forming simulation software Simufact.forming is in use and it will provide the opportunity to network with national and international colleagues. Due to the international orientation of the event, the conference will be bilingual, German and English, simultaneous translation services will be offered, when requested by attendees. Based on the expansion of the traditionally German speaking RoundTable, Simufact expects this year a multitude of presentations from all over the globe.

We are very happy about the participation of many keynote presenters of the forming industry, who already confirmed their attendance and presentation at the 12th RoundTable in Bamberg, said Michael Wohlmuth, managing director of Simufact GmbH. This year, our traditional event has two special highlights: we are looking back at 15 years of successful company history, an anniversary, which we will celebrate at the conference with the attendees, and since this year the RoundTable will be internationally oriented for the first time we are also looking forward to welcoming many of our worldwide customers in the beautiful Franconia region.

The conference offers a diversified lecture program spanning two full days. Interesting evening events, among them one in the historical Zehntscheune and the other traditionally in the great hall of the castle Altenburg, will give our attendees the opportunity to network with colleagues and to exchange information in an informal environment. Guided tours to companies of the forming industry in the Franconia region complete the offerings of the 12th RoundTable. After the official part of the conference with its presentations Simufact will offer again its Technical Session, in which the company will present the software’s new functions and features and provide tips and tricks for its usage in everyday tasks.
