New Falcon Compact Cutting Machine Offers Efficient Operation, Flexibility And An Affordable Price

Small engineering businesses can benefit from the capability to produce high quality steel construction and cut components in-house rather than the more costly approach of using a sub-contractor.

To meet this need, the new Falcon cutting machine from ESAB Cutting Systems is an entry level machine capable of producing cut components on demand. Falcon can be fitted with oxy/fuel cutting torches or supplied as an oxy-fuel package prepared for plasma cutting. It Falcon offers fast, flexible, efficient, high quality, automated cutting solutions for plate sizes up to a maximum of 2m x 6m and is the ideal choice for workshops where space is at a premium.

Depending on the process selected, the Falcon can cut steel, aluminium and alloyed steel material up to 100mm thick, with a maximum cut length of six metres.

The Falcon is equipped with the ESAB Vision LE Controller which has many advanced control features including a high resolution 640 x 480 screen, disk port for data transfer, an eight position joy stick, a pre-programmed shape library and a 16MB flash-D user memory. The compact size of the Falcon makes it ideal for use where space is limited and it can be installed quickly with minimum disruption.
