Magnetic folding machines for sheet metal introduced at MACH 2008For the production of box-type sheet metal components, a new range of folding machines employing electromagnetic rather than conventional mechanical clamping of the sheet has been introduced by Press & Shear, Tamworth, under a sole agency agreement with the South African manufacturer, Electrabrake, a division of Allied Production Industries (Pty). The machines were launched in the UK on the Press & Shear stand at MACH 2008.
