New slipping clutches from Geeplus protect against overlead

News Release from: Geeplus Europe Ltd
25/09/2007

A new range of slipping clutches from Geeplus are designed to protect clutches and other rotating components against overload in order to limit the maximum torque applied to the primary drive. These devices incorporate a spring mechanism which transmits power without slipping, up to the point where the torque is sufficient to release the spring, at which stage the device slips with constant friction torque.

New slipping clutches from Geeplus protect against overlead Available in a range of sizes to suit most applications, the slipping clutches are designed for protection against shock loads and should not be used for applications subject to continuous slipping operation.
