By introducing the new Guppy PRO range from AVT, STEMMER IMAGING can offer a superb series of Firewire cameras with exceptional performance in a small package. With up to 5 Mpixel resolution and a fast IEEE 1394b interface to provide up to twice as much bandwidth for image data transmission, these small but powerful cameras are packed with functionality at a highly competitive price.

Designed for industrial applications where camera size is a deciding factor, the Guppy PRO cameras measure just 29 x 29 x 29 mm yet have a rich array of smart features for demanding vision applications. Like all other AVT cameras, the Guppy PRO has a very robust metal housing with locking screw connectors.

Available in five monochrome and colour versions with progressive scan CCD or CMOS sensors, Guppy PRO image resolutions range from VGA (0.3 MPixel) up to 5 MPixel with frame rates ranging from 120 fps to 14 fps at full resolution. Each model features 64MB of onboard memory. The fast IEEE 1394b interface can deliver a sustained image data transmission rate of 800Mb/s.

A host of smart features bring exceptional imaging versatility for the price. These include true partial scan, binning (b/w), sub-sampling and programmable look-up tables, gamma, auto gain/exposure/white balance, image mirror and many more.
