Automation Supplies Ltd is used to getting a few curve balls thrown their way from customers looking for solutions, but in this case, through the vast Dorner modular conveyor product range, Automation Supplies was able to meet the customer's needs through creating a curve of its own.
A customer in the meat processing industry had a requirement for a heavy duty Stainless Steel based anitary conveyor that was to feature curves. The team at Dorner quickly went to work to build an all-stainless steel welded unit with a plastic chain base that could be subjected to fast, effective and easy sanitation.

Often customers need to accommodate space limitations and existing obstacles within their production and packaging facilities. At Dorner we're committed to working with our customers and helping them solve their challenges, said Gary Wemmert, director of marketing for Dorner Manufacturing. This design is based on 18 months of customer research - we learned what our customers wanted therefore we were able to respond to this customer's needs quickly.

Demand within the food and beverage industry for a welded stainless steel conveyor including curves is high.
